Brock Lesnar’s manager Paul Heyman has claimed UFC star Conor McGregor would be “great'' addition for WWE.
McGregor, 28, has long been linked with a move to WWE from MMA, with Heyman ready to manage the Irishman.
With the UFC wrestler currently on hiatus with girlfriend Dee Devlin pregnant, everyone is anxiously waiting what McGregor next step will be.
Heyman, Lesnar’s manager and spokesperson, feels McGregor has a bright future in wrestling. “It’d be great if he was. He’s a main line box office attraction. He’s a headline news grabber,’’ Heyman told WWE network.
“I think it’d be great for WWE and I think it would be even better for Conor McGregor,” he added.
McGregor surprised the wrestling fraternity when he hit out at the entire WWE roster. Despite also criticizing Lesnar, Heyman said it was all part of a plan.
"The smartest play for Conor McGregor is to become the very first Paul McHeyman guy.
"[WWE] that’s where I am right now. I’m not going to him, he’s going to have to come to me," Heyman concluded.
