According to F4WOnline.com, currently suspended WWE star Alberto Del Rio is finished with WWE, and will not be returning to the company once his suspension ends.
As noted earlier, signs were pointing towards Del Rio being finished with the company when he was removed from all upcoming WWE live event listings, even dates that were after the end of his 30 day suspension.
Sources close to the Mexican wrestler claim he was unhappy that he was not given a main event fight – despite being promised one when he returned last year.
He was treated to a big deal behind the scenes upon his return, beating John Cena in his first match back to win the US title. But instead of continuing the storyline with Cena, WWE opted to put the Mexican into the League of Nations, which wasn’t a success.
The 39-year old and the WWE have reportedly come to terms on a release, which would leave him free to work in Mexico.
Del Rio is not expected to return to the company at all, and is free at the end of September to work anywhere in the United States.
