In addition to its three own television channels, Taj TV provides playout and transmission services to ART Prime Sports, Showtime Sports, Al Diera and Citruss TV, as well as distributing hundreds of hours of sports content per year via our satellite multiplex to broadcasters around Asia.

Taj Television's broadcast and production facility is purpose-built for television, and is one of the most advanced in the industry and perhaps the finest in the Middle East. The production and broadcast equipment is digital and state of the art, thereby generating higher quality television pictures with maximum efficiency.

The facility features Sony cameras, Quantel edit seats, Discreet 3D Studio Max and Alias Wavefront Maya graphics softwares and Snell & Wilcox mixers. Our two studios handle multi-set and audience set-ups, and have been constructed to meet the highest acoustic standards.

Taj Television Limited already possesses a fully-equipped state-of-the-art studio, and is in the process of creating a second studio in its premises at Dubai Media City to cater to the increasing internal and external demand. Apart from production of three different beams of Ten Sports serving geographical areas that range from Continental Europe to East Asia, the Taj Television facilities are currently being used to produce 'Prime Sports', the ART English language sports channel; Citruss TV, the new premier Arabic shopping network, the Arabian Travel Channel and producing over 100 hours of international sports content a year for leading sports marketing company IEC, including highlights of major football, tennis, gymnastics, table tennis and swimming events. Programmes for and a wide variety of other channels and production companies also keep the facility busy year around.

Taj Television also has a fully digital 16-camera Flyaway based at its premises in Dubai Media City. The system has been designed specifically to service multi-camera outside broadcasts. Included in the set-up are Super Slo-Motion cameras, 6 Channel EVS replay systems and Camera Lenses of up to 86 x1 magnification. The system is fully compatible for either 4:3 transmission or 16:9 format.
